Born in Croatia in 1935, Tomo started drawing and painting at an early age, first in Subotica under the tuition of artist Stefan Jenovac, and later in Belgrade with artist Kosta Bradič.

Tomo migrated to Australia in 1963 and continued to practise art in all painted mediums. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held solo exhibitions in Port Vincent and Berri.

Tomo is a long-time member of the Australian Polish Arts Society of SA and regularly shows his work at many of the Society’s exhibitions.
