Born in Poland in 1986 and migrating to Australia at the age of 5 with her parents, Natalia's childhood – like that of many migrant children – was a meshing of her Polish heritage in Australian culture.
In 2016 a visit to the National Portrait Gallery reignited a passion for visual art and in 2021 Natalia took a leap of faith to study visual art which she continues to do through Adelaide Central School of Art while working as a nurse. Her interests include people, personal stories and vulnerabilities of the human condition culminating in an interest in portraiture. She mainly works in oil paint.
