The folkloric song and dance group 'Kukułeczka' has been celebrating and sharing Polish culture through song and dance in the Perth community since 1991. Today, the group boasts over 100 dancers across various age groups.
Renowned for its vibrant, energetic, and visually captivating performances, Kukułeczka regularly entertains audiences across Western Australia, interstate, and internationally. The group has proudly performed at every Australian PolArt Festival since 1994 and has represented Polish-Australian culture at multicultural festivals in Taiwan, Malaysia, and Japan, as well as in Poland, where it has also participated twice in the prestigious Rzeszów Festival.
Kukułeczka’s repertoire includes both National and regional dances of Poland, along with performances that depict folk rituals and seasonal traditions—such as celebrations around the Midsummer Solstice (Noc Świętojańska).
Through its rich and diverse programs, the group continues to preserve and promote Polish heritage within Australia and abroad.
