Born in 1967 Daniel graduated from the University of South Australia in Fine Arts in 1990.
He has exhibited in over 40 group and solo shows and is collected nationally and internationally.
Daniel’s work is attacked with emotion and colour, acting as a direct translation of what his surroundings speak to him. He uses strong, fast mark-making to express an idea or reaction. While abstract, his work carries an unmistakable landscape influence. Although his paintings may appear to be a carefree exercise in creation, each facet is carefully developed and considered to harmonise with its neighbouring brushstroke.
