Sebastian Banasiak-Adaji

Seventeen-year-old Sebastian Banasiak-Adaji has been performing on violin and symphonic percussion since the age of six, appearing at numerous events both in Australia and abroad.

He is the winner of the PolMusicA 2021 Special Award of the Society of Polish Culture in Victoria for his classical violin performance of works by Polish composers.

For over a decade, Sebastian has played with a variety of instrumental ensembles, bands, and orchestras, taking part in many competitions and festivals. His achievements include several solo performances at the prestigious Festival of Instrumental Music (FOIM) at the Sydney Opera House, as well as an international appearance delivering a violin solo at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival in the United States.

Sebastian has studied violin for 12 years and orchestral percussion for 11 years, achieving Grade 8 AMEB. Most recently, he completed his HSC, specialising in music with a focus on classical performance. In 2026, he will continue his music studies at university level, with the goal of pursuing a career as a professional musician and conductor.
