
Marta Nowicka is a Polish soprano based in Sydney, celebrated for her captivating voice, emotional depth, and vibrant stage presence. A proud ambassador of Polish music, Marta brings the beauty of her heritage to audiences in Australia and abroad.
She made her debut in 2016 at the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn in Vienna as Vitellia in La clemenza di Tito. Her repertoire spans iconic roles including Violetta (La Traviata), Gilda (Rigoletto), Musetta (La Bohème), Tosca (Tosca), Magda (La Rondine), and Roxana (King Roger). Marta has performed at prestigious venues such as the Warsaw Opera, Theater an der Wien, Staatsoper Wien, Musikverein Wien, and the Grand Theater in Łódź, collaborating with renowned conductors including Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Krzysztof Janczak, Wojciech Kilar, and Valery Gergiev.
A dedicated teacher, Marta regularly conducts masterclasses and workshops, inspiring the next generation of singers. She is also an active member of the Polish community in Sydney and Melbourne. In 2023, she was granted permanent residency in Australia (Distinguished Talent Visa) in recognition of her outstanding artistic and teaching achievements.
